About Me

Am 25 year old ambitious man from a family of 4, two boys and two girls. I took my primary school studies at Kasarani primary before joining Nairobi school for my Secondary school studies. I joined Kenyatta University in 2010 and pursued a degree in Commerce (Accounting option). Am due for graduation this November (2014) . Am keen in establishing economic independence by the age of 30. Consequently, i run some businesses alongside my studies. My hobbies are swimming, cycling and reading. I also love volunteering for community services and disaster response, mostly with Kenya Red Cross.

My Business

Am an entrepreneur with a keen interest to empower young people but at the same time make some money. I run 2 successful cyber cafes within Kasarani township. I also deal in stationery sales, printing and photocopying. The two cyber cafes give me an avarage of $200 each, giving me an income $400 every month. My expenses (rent and salary for one attendant) total up to $200 a month. The demand for computer and internet services is constantly rising in this township due to its proximity to Kenyatta University. Therefore, doing business here offers handsome returns which will enable me to repay the loan

Loan Proposal

This loan will go towards purchasing a Cannon printer which cost of $150. I have saved enough money to purchase 5 second hand computers and stationery materials to sell as well as pay the the rent for the first 3 months. I will run this business for the first 1 month before i employ an attendant. Therefore, i will not incur a salary expense in this period. I look forward for your help and a chance to employ at least one deserving Kenyan in 2 months time.
