Even though my parents are not rich, I used to have a very supporting background throughout childhood. However, the support became short after I completed senior high school because I refused to join my father in police service. After a long struggle, I later was sent to teacher-training college. I completed teacher-training college in 2008 and have been working as a professional French teacher. However, the teaching job is not very lucrative here. So, I have tried a few trades, including a barber shop to support myself. The road has not been smooth. At age 27, I got married. In the following year 2014, I enrolled at the UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION,WINNEBA for a four year Bachelors Degree in French Education. This is in accordance with my dream of becoming a professor. I have always dreamed of working hard to become “Professor Fumey Isaac Mawuli” someday. By the Grace of God and the timely support from TEAM ZIDISHA, I have completed my Bachelors Degree. I have also started my Masters degree in Education.
In 2013, I started operating a barber shop to supplement my salary as a French teacher. I started this because the services of a barber are needed by the people in my community, and it was inexpensive to start at the time because I already owned a storeroom which was not in use. I normally spend on power, hair clippers, sterilizer, hair products, etc. After barely three years of operation,I have also acquired the skills of barbering from the guys I have employed. I therefore seek to expand the business by opening a new shop at Winneba around the University where i would officially operate myself for business purposes instead doing for friends for free.I mostly use the profits for education for my wife and for myself. I also attend seminars and conferences with my wife. And I spend some on maintaining and repairing damaged devices. As at now the shop is moving better than it used to be,and I still have faith for better days to come. I am still working hard to achieve my dream of becoming a professor.
My first loan from Zidisha would help supplement how much I have been able to raise to provide for my school expenses for the 2015-2016 academic year. The expenses include tuition at $210 (USD) per year, accommodation at $187 (USD) per year, and association and departmental dues at $40 (USD). I have been able raise $210 (USD) to take care of my tuition fees. So, the loan would help me with my accommodation and other fees. This first loan from Zidisha would be of great help, and I thank you for your consideration.

My first loan from Zidisha would help supplement how much i have been able to raise to cater for my school expenses for the 2015 -2016 academic year. The expenses would include
accommodation fee:187 USD per year
tuition fee:210 USD per year
association and departmental dues:40 USD
It is certain my the remaining of my first loan can not take absolute care of the above expenses.I hereby want to state that I have been able raise 210 USD to take care of my tuition fees.So I am left with my accommodation and the other dues to cater for, which I believe this first loan from Zidisha will be of great help.
