My Name is Chisanga Mulenga. I live in Kitwe, Zambia. I am 47 years old Zambian Lady. I went to school at Fatima Girls Secondary School in Ndola. I finished college and worked for sometime.. I am now full time in Business in Kitwe.

My Business

I run a garbage collection business. I collect garbage door to door weekly on different days in difference areas. I provide Garbage bags for my customers to pack their garbage and charge a fee for collecting their garbage weekly.
Each household is responsible for proper disposal of their garbage at the government designated dump area. Most if the people would rather they out source this service. This is where I come in to help clean our environment and the garage bags keeps the household garbage properly contained reducing the spread of diseases.
This service is on very high demand as it is needed by every household.
I choose this much need service to provide help clean the environment the community, employment to the youths and reduce the spread of diseases.
Cost are transport, salaries, dumping fees, telephone bills, Administration costs and there is an income that comes in every week.

Loan Proposal

I am continuing with the Garbage Bags Purchase and in this Loan we are still looking for garbage bags to continue the business.

The service in needed in many homes. I have currently been working with 355 houses and have a request to provide the service to 400 house. Out of this number of houses, 125 have prepaid for the service for the whole month and by so doing the requirement is that we provide 4 plastics garbage bags to these prepaid clients since our service is weekly so we need to serve them 4 times in the month.

We need 500 plastic garbage bags to cater for 125 prepaid houses at US$0.15 each which amounts to US$ 75.

This will help in servicing the 125 prepaid households with ease.

I am confident that I will still increase the business by 10% from this activity because if the clients are happy with our service they will definitely spread the news on my behalf.
