About Me

My booth, like the many other kiosks in Bobo Dioulasso, is located not far from the construction of the brand new sister sector of 22. We can serve morning coffee or tea with a hamburger or omelette. The master of this kiosk is me. My name is Gnazanga Mahama Traore, and I'm 25 years old. I'm not married yet. From 5 am to 22pm, I am seated behind my counter, helped by my younger brother for all those who ask to be served. My ship, named "Club 8," is a metallic structure with three openings, two of which are windows and the third is a door, is equipped with a refrigerator and a small area equipped to accommodate "the kitchen" ( a gas stove).

My Business

Everywhere in the city of Bobo Dioulasso appear kiosks that are remarkable for their signs and their bright colors. Mine is a very attractive color of blue. You can take a morning coffee or tea, rice or pasta are almost part of the daily program. It is also possible to eat soup with fish or meat. So you can eat a meal at a reasonable price or 200-300 francs. My booth also offers refreshments to drink when needed. It is not much, but quite enough to make savings and to support the education of my two little brothers. Thank you for that first loan that will relieve a little of my time acquiring a gas cylinder.

My kiosk also sells drink refreshments for when you are thirsty. It is not a large business, but enough to make savings and to pay for school for two of my younger brothers. About Me

Dans mon kiosque, pareil aux nombreux autres kiosques de Bobo Dioulasso, situé non loin de l’immeuble des sœur flambant neuf du secteur 22, on peut se faire servir le matin du café ou du thé accompagné d’un sandwich de viande hachée ou d’omelette. Le maître à bord de ce kiosque, c’est moi. Je me nomme Gnazanga Mahama Traore, et j’ai 25 ans. Je ne suis pas encore marié. De 5h à 22h, je trône derrière mon comptoir, aidé par mon jeune frère, servant tous ceux qui demandent à être servis. Mon navire, nommé « Le Club 8 », une boîte métallique percée de trois ouvertures, dont deux sont une fenêtre et la troisième, une porte, est équipé d’un réfrigérateur et d’un petit coin aménagé pour accueillir « la cuisine » (une gazinière).

Un peu partout dans la ville de Bobo Dioulasso apparaissent des kiosques qui se font remarquer par leurs pancartes et leurs couleurs vives. Le mien est de couleur bleu et très attrayant. Vous pouvez y prendre un café matinal, ou un thé, du riz ou des pates sont presque au programme de tous les jours. Il est aussi possible d’y manger de la soupe de poisson ou de la viande. Ainsi vous pouvez manger un plat à un prix raisonnable de 200F ou 300FCFA. Mon kiosque propose également des rafraîchissements pour se désaltérer en cas de besoin. Pas grand-chose donc, mais assez suffisant pour faire de l’épargne et prendre en charge la scolarité de deux de mes petits frères. Je vous remercie pour ce premier prêt qui viendra soulager un temps soit peu mon besoin en bouteille de gaz.
