About Me

I am a fifth born in a family of six children. I started my standard on education in 1977 and completed my standard seven education in 1983 at Mtepeni primary school in Kilifi county, later joined St.George's high school-Kaloleni in Kilifi county in 1984 and completed my 'O'level education in 1987.I joined Njumbi high school in Murang'a county for my 'A'levels from 1988-1989.I stayed out to the world with no employment up to September 1991 when I joined the Technical university of Mombasa for a diploma in Mechanical Engineer up to November 1993 when I completed my course. I started my employment journey to date.My first employment with Doshi enterprises, then Bawazir/Milly fruits ,Fine plastic and later in 2004 joined Newkcc to date as an Engineering Technician.

My Business

I started my small shop business in 2006,which run well till 2010 when I decided to more capital to purchase a chopsticks making machine to process chopsticks ice.Unfortunately the project came to a stand still due to machine failures and high processing cost is high electricity cost and materials. I therefore decided to take to animal and vegetables farming at farm in Takaungu in Kilifi county. The loan requested for is to purchase solar pump, panel and to build more cubicals for the goats and birds ..I actually chose the farming business at that location as most farm produced are most gotten at Kongowea market which is very far and people in these areas prefer to get from nearby, the sale of animals and poultry animals and eggs is also good.Part of profit from this business is used for home expense and fees for my child in high school and one in university, the excess expenses are paid for from my salary.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to purchase chopsticks cups to replace the damaged/leaking cups and add more sales coolers. After the purchase of more cups the production time will be reduced from the current 10 Hrs to about six hours., saving on electricity, labour work time, and also get the market early, expected to bring about 4000ksh.more.
