About Me

My name is Millicent ADukwe. I was born in a village call Yawsaekrom in the Brong Ahafo Region.I was born in 26th of July 1975.I am the last born of my parents.I have four siblings.
I come from the northern part of Ghana but my parents came to Brong Ahafo purposely to do farming. So they were farmer. The proceed from the sale of foodstuff was what my parents used in sponsoring our education My dad died when I was five years old and my mother had struggle in taking care of five children.things became difficult for my mum so my other four siblings became drop out from school. After my national service I secure a job at Capital Rural Bank ltd in the year 2006. I then got married to Mr Kwadwo Appiah who is a barber and a petty trader. God has blessed us with three children.

My Business

I started a soft drink shop last two years January 2015 to support my monthly income. I sell different kinds of soft drinks like minerals, multi fruits drinks, milo drink, voltic water, sachet water and other petty things like candies, bread and biscuits. Sales is very high, I sell about ten to twelve crates of malt and coca cola a days. The location of my business attract more customers. I operate the shop myself in the evening from 7:00 -10:00 pm. My business is located at capital estate near abesim, Sunyani- Ghana.

Loan Proposal

The loan would be used to stock up my grocery shop with the following items: 15 crates of minerals will cost Ghs765 with unit price of Ghs51, 7 crates of malt would also cost Ghs546 and the unit price is Ghs78, 10 boxes of Milo will also cost Ghs1,122; per unit cost is Ghs187, 2 bags of sugar would cost Ghs370 and unit price is Ghs185, 6 boxes of Non ( babies milk) would cost Ghs2412 and unit price is Ghs402. I would also purchase 12 boxes of key soap which would cost Ghs1080; cost per box is Ghs90. 7 packs of T.roll will cost Ghs385, unit cost per pack is GHS 55. I Will also purchase 4 packs of insecticide which will cost Ghs312 and unit cost is Ghs78 and lastly 20 packs of bottle water would be purchased and the cost is Ghs240 and it's unit price is Ghs12.

Income Source

I am the only person that operations grocery shop in my area. I have being enjoying that monopoly since I started so paying back the loan would not be a problem at all. Repayment will come from my daily sales .

    Kindly adjust the weekly instalments for me for the sales is very poor. I wish I could meet the instalments amount as scheduled earlier on but unfortunately am experiencing poor sale. Wish to do better next time.

    I would like to plead with my lenders for not beaing able to follow the schedule amount and keeps on changing the schedule amount but it not my making. It is due to poor sales and poor economy we find ourselves nowadays. Please I will follow the schedule instalments when sales improve. Thank you.
