About Me

my name is Gaye Mwelwa. I am 34 years old. i am married and have 3 children, all girls. I live in kitwe on the copperbelt province of Zambia. I run a small grocery shop which I would one day like to see grow into something big. I am grateful to be part of this team.

My Business

I run a small grocery shop near my home. it has assorted items needed for daily household necessities like salt, cooking oil, juice etc. I also have bread and snacks for the kids. drinks are the major contributor to my profits.

Loan Proposal

I intend to buy a wide range of body lotions and perfumes and roll on for the shop. I found a cheap supplier thereby making my prices low so my customers are buying these supplies like hot cake as I am offering them at affordable prices.

Income Source

In the current situation with the corona virus, our Government has encouraged us to consider this as a new normal. Businesses have continued to operate while observing the health conditions to help fight the virus. So now that the lockdown has been eased it's good for my business and paying back the loan won't be as hard as it was during lockdown.
