About Me

My name is Rebecca Oduro. I come from Effiduasi but I live in Accra, Ghana. I had my basic education at Effiduasi Methodist school. When I completed, I was not good enough academically so my parents told me to learn a trade to become a hair dresser. After three years of been an apprentice, completed learning and I became master oo my own.

My Business

I am a hair dresser, when I completed learning the hair dressing, I worked for other people and received salary at the end of the month. I worked for people for almost three good years. During that time, I was making some saving. The saving helped me to buy some of the tools and equipment I need to start my own business. Now I work for no one but myself.

Loan Proposal

I am applying for this loan so that I will buy a hair dryer which I use in my shop. As a hair dresser, one of my important equipments is hair dryer, unfortunately for me, I have only one in my salon. Sometimes some of my customers become disturbed when they are kept too long in the salon. Additional hair dryer will help me to provide service to my customers faster.

Income Source

I am a hair dresser. I have a shop where I work. My shop is very busy during the weekend. Dressing the hair does not much. The only thing that cost a bit is electricity and a small amount of shampoo. Any amount charged has about eighty percent profit. Beside that, I also sell human hair and other hair pomade which also fetch me small profit.
