Thank you for this opportunity.
I am a honest and hard working lady residing in Nairobi city. Having been born and brought up in rural set up i am a first born of three. My parents are farmers and practices mixed farming in up country. I was taken to school just like any other child and pursued my primary and secondary educatuion.My parents didn’t have financial support to educate me to higher institutions of learning. So I opted to get training in beauty and hair dressing.
When I graduated, I stated working in private owmed businesses in the estate and gained a lot of experience. I could do some saving and my parents boosted me to start a shop of selling beauty products and related.
This is how I came to own a business. It is through persistence in study and working hard I overcame my background hardship.
What is unique in my area is that people do help one another in times of needs like fundraising for hospital bills and many other needs. My children would like to be well brought up, get educated and become entrepreneurs.
My unique hobby is helping the needy through our church initiative. I also love swimming.

Meanwhile, my business is selling beauty products. These includes,Hair,cosmetics,skin care products,Lipstick,Hair food, Eye shadow ,chemicals, Eye Pencil ,shampoos,Bracelets,ear rings, perfumes and so many other products.
These products are always on demand because they are commonly used for aesthetic and for beauty purpose. Besides caring for skin and maintain a healthy skin for both gender and children. I choose this business because it is my profession and I am experienced in it and I love it besides giving me a huge profit.
My typical cost is generally the cost of buying all these beauty products, rent, security and transport. My profit usually goes towards meeting the cost of the bills and reinvesting in my business.Others i pay for my personal expenses and help my parents.

When I get the loan will buy the fastest moving products in my shop.
I will buy assorted Hair at a cost of $40.00.
I will also buy Shampoo at $ 28.00 and Assorted Nail Polish at $20.00.
Very much important also will be Nail Polish remover at $15.00 and Shower cap at $4.00.
These are the most common items customers ask and with the loan, my business will be a one stop point for my customers and are sure of getting what they need every day. I project my profit to increase from the current USD20.00 to USD30.00 per day.
This will be wonderful for me and my business achievement towards making it a whole sale shop in future. I will be grateful to you lenders and Zidisha.
