I was born and raised up in central kenya near Mt Kenya , Kirinyaga County in a family of four kids me being the first born.
During those days there were no many schools as today as could walk for 12 Kilometres to reach my primary school.
I came to be in business after i married my husband who had already started doing electric sales and services. from there i saw an opportunity to introduce a hardware section.
We operate from Murang'a county central Kenya the origin of the Kikuyu community ancestors GIKUYU AND MUMBI. The landscape so beautiful and cool weather. Rivers flow down the ridges, tall trees and water falls make the land wonderful.
I work as a Hardware shop proprietor together with my husband who operate with electricals and services. Mostly i sell plastic wares , tools , nails, brooms, and many more.
I choose this business because i love doing it as a passion.
With this business am able to support my husband in his projects.
My hardware business has been doing well and I wish to expand it further to sustain the demand of my customers.
In mind and record I got items that I have not yet been able to avail and they are in much demand. They include such as assorted brooms and brushes, buckets, farm tools and much more.
On part of the tools as many Kenyans are moving back to their rural homes due to closure of many employment in the city amid the coronavirus outbreak, thus they are opting for farming in the rural areas. I therefore
have a business opportunity to supply tools to the effected .
This loan will help me fill the gap of supply and demand and I believe I will make a good fortune out of this.
As many businesses are not able to operate during the current world situation am very sure this will not affect my loan repayment because I have a good plan to do business and make a satisfactory outcome having known the areas of demand.
Apart from this, my side business of indigenous chicken rearing still makes me an income from selling eggs and chickens for meat.
I also do support my husband in his electrical sales and services and we do always count on each other support whenever there are financial difficulties.
