About Me

My names are Njobvu Peter, am a Zambian citizen aged 27yrs, am a self motivated person who has a big desire of entrepreneurship, I have been doing business of incubating different types of poultry eggs and selling chicks to subsistence farmers, I started this business in 2019 and I thought of growing it be lending some finances.

My Business

I sell chicks of different types of birds to local farmers, I have a small incubator that I use to incubate the eggs and sell the chicks at different stages of their growth at a small scale due to low or small capital, am only able to hatch 100 chicks per week but my target is to the number 500 per week and increase the number to 1000 per week after 6 months, the funds will be used to buy more eggs and a big incubator at later stage

Loan Proposal

To buy a brooder cage for my chicks that will soon hatch which will cost me about k170, and some lighting bulbs which will cost me k50, this brooder will help me to be able to keep the chicks for a bit of a longer time due to business interruption by the coronavirus outbreak in the world

Income Source

Indeed due to coronavirus pandemic most businesses have been affected, and hence forth i have set up plans on how I will repay this loan
1. Online marketing of may products and all transactions will be done electronically
2. I have reduced the price of my chicks, this is attract more customers to buy from me
3. I have also started selling fertiliserd and unfertilised eggs for chickens which means if dont manage to sell chicks I will sell same eggs and repay the loan
4. And am currently working with a certain organisation which pays me a salary so in of failure in business i will still use my salary to pay the loan.
All these plans have been put across for me to succeed in my business.
