About Me

my name is Josphine Santa Nyenyo,A Kenyan young and intelligent girl. I went to Kikambala primary school. from 1989 to 1999. I did my KCPE exam and passed well but i did not pas sue my education because of the poverty status in my family. am the first born of Mr,Nyenyo Mwabele from a small village of Msumarini in Kilifi county. Being the first born in our family i have the responsibilities of my family up keep. This is because of the old ege of our parents It's a big task but that's how it should be since am the elder child and parents are old and cant work. I have two brothers and three sisters. Two sisters are in secondary school one will be in form four next year and he other one will be in form three next year. Our last born is a boy and will be in class eight next year. I live in mtwapa while the rest of the family members live at our home in Msumarini. life here in mtwapa is expensive that's why i cant live with my family here. I do my business here in mtwapa and that's why i should stay close to my business. I get a reasonable income with my business.I get an average of ksh 20,000 per month. I use my earnings to pay for school fees for my siblings, and also for my up keep here where i stay.

My Business

Am a tailor by profession having done this since i left school. Am situated along the the Mombasa- Malindi Main road. Because of the high population here its been a good business town for me because my business is doing fine here.Am a professional designer and many of my customers are happy because they get their required clothes according to their demand.Mtwapa is a very busy town and with a high population of people. And for that rason i can say that Mtwapa is a business town. I can say that my business is profitable because i get a good profit of ksh 25,000 per a good month. I normally get my materials from a neighboring country of Tanzania where i get the latest materials and designs. I face a few risks in my business, like , my business is quite seasonal for example in the month of February to march the business is low. And also in the month of September also the business becomes low. But the other months are busy and very profitable. With the income i get from my business i use ksh 1,000 to pay for the rent at my business, ksh 8,000 is used for my sibling's school fees, ksh 5,000 is used for my family food. I use ksh 2,000 to pay for my huose rent at the place i live because my family lives in Msumarini and i live in Mtwapa. I use ksh 2,000 for my needs. I save ksh 7,000 every month. I can use this to pay my loan.
