I was born at bahati constituency in Nakuru county in the year 1968.I was born the first child in a family of ten.I started my schooling .I finished my primary education from Kendurumu primary school.I joined Kendurumu secondary after finishing primary studies. Unfortunately i was not lucky enough to further my studies. I therefore started working at low salaries untill the almighty God granted me my wish of starting my own business. married in the year 1997.I started a small retail shop which i operated from the year 2005 to the year 2007 and then i decided to open a butchery which did not last due to luck of enough capital of managing it. It operated from the year 2007 to the year 2010 and then i was forced to open a shop again which has grown to a wholesale shop. Again due to insufficient capital, my shop declined to a small shop which am operating to time. With the profits i get,i use them to provide for my family needs, that is,paying for the schooling of my three kids and other family needs.I also make some savings since i focus on regaining my wholesale.
I own a small retail shop that is located around bahati centre.I deal in domestic products mostly and i supply goods to some of retail shops around our area.I earn an average monthly net profit of about 9,000 kenyan shillings. In this ammount about 20% of the total i invest it back to the business. The rest i used to pay for expenses such as rent and electricity and for paying fees for my schooling kids and i save the rest.I purchase my stock in Nakuru town which is cheaper compared to places which are nearer to the business. This ofcourse costs me transportation expense.I can say that customers prefer my shop because i charge them at fair prices and sell them goods at the right quantities.I face certain challenges such that higher elecricity and rent costs. I was hoping one day that i will purchase land to build my own premises with a larger capacity. I also need capital to regain the wholesale shop i lost around the area.I also wanted to avoid the problem of my customers lacking certain products and with the loan,i will increase the stock and avoid this problem. In order to compete with similar business around and attract more customers, i need to purchase a good stock which i believe will generate me a good profit which will help me face life challenges and educate my children whom i dont want to go through tough life as i did.
Hello lenders, i humbly plead with you to lend me this loan since i really need it to boost my business which is currently at great risks. with the loan, i intend to use it properly in order to maintain my shop. If i get the loan, i will use it together with my savings to add my stock and new goods in order to re-open a wholesale. I also plan to extend my shop in that ,the coming goods will have enough display space. extension might cost me about kenyan shillings 13,000. Therefore, your loan will help me improve competition and fill my stock thus attracting more customers to my shop. I look upon you to help me reopen my wholesale shop. Thank you.
