Am Kandzo Katana Kambi am a resident. of mtwapa. Am widow my died in 2005 after an illness leaving to me all the family care. its been tough to me and my children. i nave two children, all boys.I live with my children in a rented house here in mtwapa. I went to Mtepeni primary school in 1982 to 1992. But could not get the chance to go toa secondary school due to lack of funds.Am 32 years old and a successful business woman here in mtwapa. I started this business in order to meet my family needs. My business is a green grocer. its situated near my home by the roadside.I sell all types of vegetables and fruits. I normaly get my products in Kongowea market in Mombasa. I can say its a good business because i now can feed and take care of my children without much stress. My business is quite profitable because in a month i get a minimum profit of ksh 20,000 per month. with this am able to take care of my family and also expand my business.Am also planning to open a branch in which i believe will add more value to my business. and also make it easier for me to meet my family needs.

My Business

My business is a green grocer, situated along the chief's office - agricultural road. its at a good site. in my green grocer i sell vegetable like sukumawiki, cabbage,spinach,and other local vegetables. I also sell fruits like bananas oranges, ovacadoes, and all types of fruits. I get my goods from Kongowea market in Mombasa. Ive been in this business for a period of eight years. with my business, My business has risks, like when it rains heavily market prices raise making our prices raise too and sometimes loos customers i get an income of ksh 30,000 per a good month. with my earning i use ksh 2,000 to pay rent at the business premises, ksh 3,000 is used to pay my house rent. ksh 8,000 is spent on school fees for my two boys.who are in form 2 and form one respectively. Ksh. 7,000 is used for food for my family. So i save ksh 10,000 per month. With my savings i started to pay for a plot which i will be able to build my own house where i'll be living with my children.And that's why am applying this loan so as to add value to my business so as to fulfil my goals.

Hello, thank you for making my loan application through. With this loan i want to improve my business by adding more stock. so with this loan i will add green vegetable stock and fruits. I will also start frying samosas and potatoes, and also serve break fast. to customers. With this i will have added more value to the business and i expect more returns in terms of income.
