About Me

My name is Monday Baya, a familyman, a businessman and a resident of mtwapa. Am maried and blessed with two children, a boy aged fifteen years and a girl aged twelve years old. I live with my whole family here in mtwapa in a rented house. Am a secondary school lever having completed my form four. After school i had nothing to do other than looking for small casual jobs that will give me and my family the daily bread. After a hard struggle i managed to attend a driving course where i attained a diver's license. With this i thought of what to do and came up with the idea of bodaboda. This business is doing well here. With the income i get rom this business i buy food for my family, pay rent, pay school fees and other family needs.

My Business

I operate a bodaboda business here in mtwapa town and its neighborhood. This business is very good and profitable especially if you own the motor cycle. I mostly do this business at night and its doing good because at such times there are few people doing this business. I enjoy doing this business at night because i get time to do other things during the day.Risks in this business is theft, sometimes you may run into a group of thieves and they can take everything from you. In a month i get an income of ksh 25,000. With this income i use ksh 3,000 paying house rent, ksh 6,000 paying school fees, and ksh 5,000 for buying food for the family.I save an average of ksh 11,000 per moth. With this amount i can use to repay my zidisha loan if granted.
