My name is Irene Nduta Njomo, a resident of mtwapa and a businesswoman in mtwapa as well. Am a mother of two children a boy and a girl. Both fionished school and now settled with their lives my husband died long tome ago, and i have been fighting the battle of life all alone, i managed to educate all my two children through hardship but i thank God i did it! I was employed in a hotel in Mombasa called Britania hotel, i worked here for a long time and this is where i got the funds to educate my children. But later this good fortune came to an end when the hotel closed. This time my age could not allow me the rush in job seaking so i decided to start my own business. And because i have my own house it was easy for me to start the business, i opened a grocery. it was small as i did not have enough money for a big business. This small business expanded and i now have a big ratio shop where i sell all types of house hold goods. This business has become very good as am now popular to many and a now many customers. With what i get i buy food for me and my grand child and paying his school fees pay bills and also invest back to the business.
Am a businesswoman in mtwapa operating a ration shop. in my shop i sell all house hold goods like wheat flour, maize flour, sugar, milk, all those house holds, this has become a very successful business because i started with small shop and now its big as i had to extend from the front side so as to get a store.I get my products from the nearby wholesalers here in mtwapa and if i can get a product here i send from the biger wholeaslers in Mombasa.this business has risks like the price fluctuation, which really affects the business profit as you may have bought an item at higher price when you sell at the curent lowe price the profit reduces or you wont make any profit at all. this business is profitable as i make an income of ksh 20,000 per month after all my experiences. With this amount i use ksh 2,000, for school fees, ksh 1,000 for electricity, ksh 8,000 i pay a house girl. so i save ksh 9,000 per month with this i can repay my zidisha loan efffectively. My ambition is to see my business expand so that my grand child can go to school up to the highest level. and this is why a want zidisha to assist me in my dreams.
Hello, thank you so much for approving my loan application As a businesswoman i would like to see my customers happy by providing to them what they need. So with this loan i will add more of wheat flour, cooking oil,and maize flour as these are the commonly needed products by my customers. With this i will stand a good chance of doing more business than before as i will have all my customers required goods.
