About Me

My name is Peris Kahonzi Kadenge am twenty four years old. Am a married woman with two children. I finished only primary education i did not manage to finish with high school because i got pregnat when i was in form two. I decided to start this business to help my husband because his salary was not that enough to cater for our family. Right now my business is doing well more than i expected. I run a grocery where i sell vegetables, Fruits and other small shop items such as salt, sugar, maize flour, royce etc. Other grocers in the area sell only vegetables. I have manage build a kiosk. I started in an open air maket where rain and sun were my friends. I thank God for broughting me this far.

My Business

I run a grocery where i sell vegetables and other small shop items such as salt, sugar, maize flour, royco (food staffs only). Everyday i wake up very early and i rushed to the market (kongowea) to get fresh vegetables. I a day i make Ksh 4300. I buy daily stock of about Ksh 2300 and i pay electricity bill Ksh 5000. I spend Ksh 24000 on my family needs every month. I have a helper whom i pay him 150 per day. At the end of the month am remained with about Ksh 26500. Am looking forwad to get this loan from Zidisha and once i get this loan i will expand my besiness by building a bigger shop.
