About Me

I am the second born in a family of five girls. My home village is Kadzonzo in Kilifi County. After completing the form 4 level, I joined a village polytechnic and I pursued beauty therapy.

Due to the little savings that my family had, they assisted me in starting the business of salon and cosmetics. It wasn't easy to get started, but I managed to rent a place at Mariakani. Getting into this business was a dream come true: this was an ambition I held since my childhood.

Mariakani is a growing town whereby many women like being smart always. Due to this, it enables my business to work well as my desires. I have created more jobs for my fellow workers who were ready to work together in the field of beauty, and they enjoy the income that they get from what they are doing in the department of beauty.

My Business

My business deals with hairdressing, pedicures, manicures, facials and massages. In Mariakani, not all stations of beauty offer all these services, but to me it is an advantage because I offer all that others are not doing. I have liked beauty since childhood, as I said before, so after joining the field of beauty officially and enjoying the income, I have become addicted also: I like smartness. The costs I incur include: paying rent; buying chemicals, body lotions, and hair foods; and paying the electricity bill. The profits I generate I use to expand my business, as well as for personal growth and to support my family.

Loan Proposal

If i get this loan, I will use it to purchase a hairdryer for my salon. This service is in high demand from my clients, who keep on asking about settings. If get this hairdryer, I will be able to satisfy the needs of my clients and also I will increase my profits up to 10%. The profits I will generate I will use to expand my business and be in a better position to support my family.
