Hi,my name is John Oboyo Njoni born 47 years ago.I was raised up in the slums of kambi Nyoka a very hostile environment.I went to Mukhuyu primary school in the year 1977 to the year 1983.I also went to Kivaywa Secondary in the year 1984 to 1987 where i left with grade C plain. i joined class 1 because by that time learning or going to school was not a prerequisite. After a long struggle with my my parents since they were very poor, my dad was a casual laboror in the rice fields while my mum was a house wife.I am married to Sharon with three children.
Having completed my Fourth form in the year 1984, I went to look for casual jobs where i landed to look after the flock.i saved my earning from the sales of milk.
When you finish your fourth form, you are expected by the family to provide for them whether you are employed or not.My elder daughter wants to be a business woman while my second son wants to be a bus driver. My last born son wants to be a pastor.I love spending my free time with my family and doing some bit of internet browsing.
I provide Internet Services to my customers.
Since we are situated in a remote area and those services are rare, they are high in demand because can not long distances looking for Cyber services.
I chose this kind of business is profitable in its own standing.
My typical cost and revenue is ksh.25000
I use my profits as follows:
1.Ksh.25000 school fees for my children.
2.Ksh.5000 for my re-investment in growing the business
3.Ksh.4000 for home improvement.
4.Kshs.2000 for church activities.
The loan proposal is meant to increase two high speed desktops computers for browsing @ $385.73. The purchase of the two computers will increase the amount of income per week; and will also be a source of employment for the community members especially when it comes to internet activities and business advertisement. The previous loan was able to make a 27% increment in income. Doubling the computers with fast browsing speed will make double improvement in income. Thus, it will be expected to increase business income up to 30%-35% per month. The long term result will be that, the loan will stabilize the business.
