About Me

I am Mahmoud Tettei Shahday, a self thought Web Developer and Network Admin. I am from Tema in the Great Accra Region of Ghana. I am single but in a relationship with Gloria, whom I love so much. My parents got divorced when I was very young, so I had to live with my grandmom at Winneba, which is located at the Central Region of Ghana.

I had my primary education at Winneba after which I came back to mom in Tema, where I had both Junior and Senior High School education. Even though grandma is illiterate, she's just brilliant! She used to tell me more about life and God-fearing. I had great interest in computers while in Junior High School. I was introduced to computers by my classmates while in school. They would always go to the cafe when school had closed. In fact, it was a great joy to get my first email, and that's what I've been using to date.

After completing Senior High School life was a big challenge. I had to drop out of my ICT training school when my parents could not afford the fees. Well, I never gave up. I begun to teach myself some computer networking. I remember working in an internet cafe after school, and later I was in charge of the cafe network. I am currently employed at Ferro Fabrik Limitd as a network technician.

I look forward to starting my own business and also help employ other people as there's high rate of unemployment in Ghana. This has been a childhood dream, and it'll be a great joy to see it in reality. And I believe I'm almost a CEO with Zidisha. I'm so grateful to my friend who introduced me to your program.

My Business

I've always aspired to be an entrepreneur. And that's how come I taught myself computer networking despite the financial constraints. I have also been able to teach myself web development. I know HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. I am able to build websites using Wordpress and Joomla as well. I believe that ICT is the future, and it's worth investing in it.

Many business and organizations have benefited from it, and it's a great joy to know computer professionals are in great demand. Most successful businesses are powered by ICT. And today, it's almost like, "you're not a serious firm" if your company despises the need for an online presence or the use of technology to transform your business.

I would to develop my brand new business website. The services I will provide are Computer Networking, Web Design & Development. It is my dream that the business grows, and that I am able to expand and employ other talented individuals as and when needed. Therefore, profits accrued from the business will be wisely reinvested for future growth. I will be charging GHC 450 and above depending on the nature of work to be done.

Loan Proposal

I would use the loan for hosting and domain name registration of the website. The services to be offered are Networking, Web Design & Development. It is my dream that the business grows, and that I am able to expand and employ other talented individuals as and when needed.

Therefore, profits accrued from the business will be wisely reinvested for future growth. Acquiring start-up capital in Ghana is very difficult, but thanks to the Zidisha Team and the Lenders for making it easy by making this platform available and operating. I am deeply grateful.
