About Me

My name is Bernadette Ngowa born in 1974. I Went through Primary and secondary education. After finishing i did secretarial course but tarmacked for many years before getting a job. After doing for sometime i quit because it wasn't paying well. I went to hotel industry and worked for sometime too but when low season started was retrenched. i decided now to start something to keep me moving with life. I'am a treasury of a women group in my place and we share many ideas. We bought 600 chairs this year to lend out for occasions like wedding or parties. I am bringing up 4 children. Thre are mine and my brothers who is jobless. My kids did well in their exams and were promoted to another class. One wants to be a doctor and the others teachrr and engineer when they grow up, and i hope with hard work their dreams will come true. I have been singing in choir in my childhood but most of my time now i like reading novels.

My Business

I have a liquor store, retail shop and charcoal shop where i sell foodstuffs i.e flour, milk, water, cooking oil, juices and non foodstuffs like paraffin, brooms, washing soaps etc all at a profit. These items are very important in that they are used daily and so they are in high demand. Though some have low profit but they are swelling out in big quantities. I am intending to use the profit to put blocks on my mud house to that i can transfer the shop to my premises.

Loan Proposal

I want to buy building material e.g blocks, cement and timber to renovate my house that has mud walls. i want to build one room after the other as i can not make the whole house at once because of luck of funds. when the house is ready i can shift my shop where i have rented to my own now, and also i can rent the other rooms.
