Dorcas is a old woman who is married with grown up children and grand children.She was working as a secretary with Kenya Revenue Authority before her retirement due to old age.After her retirement,,,she started a business of selling water.She dug her borehole on her piece of laand here in mombasa where she lives.Since there is water problem in mombasa she started selling that water to the people around her.She has a small pump and tap where people come to fetch water at a fee.However because of the demand fpr water,,,she now wants to buy a tank and place it on the stand that she has build so that she can satisfy the huge demand.Kindly grant her this loan.

My Business

Dorcas business is selling water.There is a high demand of water from boreholes because water here is salty.No one else thought of coming up with a business like the one Dorcas is doing.I visited her place and the demand for water is really on top.She has to do something to satisfy those people and that is when i sold the idea of zidisha to her and she was very happy.She told me that in a day she gets 3,000 from selling water and if she was able to satisfy all the people who come queuing,,then she could earn far much better.She has built a stand for a tank which she says is too expensive and if given this loan she will be able to buy and use it for her business.She does this for her living with her old husband.

Loan Proposal

I am going to buy a new tank.I will place it on the stand that i built earlier and pump water in to it then sell to my customers.My customers will be very happy.i expected to get 40,000 but i will just apply for 25,000 as you pleased.i will get my small savings and add on to this to have enough to buy the tank.
