About Me

I am a Kenya-born citizen,33 years of age and blessed with two beautiful girls,Keziah Wambui and Lucy Nyambura.my education level is standard eight of primary education.I joined an embroidery course in 1998,for a period of two years.I later joined a textile firm in Thika for two years.It was after the experience gained from the firm that i got the motivation and conviction to start my own business in 2003.My business is located in Rongai town,Nakuru County,Kenya;10km from my residence.It is my belief that entrepreneurship is the way to solve the poverty that is affecting our communities and has I try to spread my business skills to those aroung me by offering to teach young girls who ahve no hope in furthering their education due to financial constraints.

My Business

My business is an embroidery one as earlier stated.It is located in Rongai town,Nakuru County,Kenya;10km from my residence and just opposite Rongai stadium.I specialize in making tailor-made products for my customers and this has earned me a lot of customers for I try as much as possible to meet their demand and specifications.In terms of competition,it's only Iand one other person who make such kind of products.My business is also strategically located for the bus terminal is nearby.The town has a well conneted transport aand communication systems and thus am able to reach other markets away from my home.This also helps me interact with other tailors who share some ideas on how to improve my business.

Loan Proposal

I am very much glad for the first loan you loaned me since it improved my business. For this loan I am applying I need to add more stock since we are approching Christmas season when I have more customers to meet there favorites. Then I will buy another sewing machine for a new premises for easy access to my customers.
