MYSELF
My Name is Elijah Karoki Wachira. Am married in monogamous family and am blessed with one child. I live in Bahati division in Nakuru county .Am learned and i have O level certificate and have computer certificate .I started a business to get daily bread and to cater for future challenges (to get money for future use).My business is situated at Karunga shopping centre.

My Business

I sell mobile phone accessories, phone repair, computer repair and televisions. I also sell movies and renting them. My business has many customers and I earn a basic profit of about ksh 40,000 per month which amounts to ksh 480,000 per year. This is due to urban and rural electrification which has facilitated the growth of urban center and rural areas so many people have bought video players, computers, televisions, mobile phones e.t.c. The risks I face is that many people do not have computer knowledge , some do not return movies after they have completed viewing them, house rent is very high and I may like to build my own premises so that money of rent I can buy other basic needs.

Loan Proposal

I first wish to thank zidisha organization community and secondly show my gratitude to my first loan lenders for giving me an opportunity to grow my business. With the loan, i am planning to expand my business by selling phones as i also increase my accessories stock. I intend to use the loan in purchasing a digital camera since it has come to my realization that there is limited photo work in my area, Besides the camera, i also intend to purchase a printer which can comfortably print my photos and instant passports. With this i will be able to capture the nearest institutions and occasions aiming for a higher profit. The remnant will be used to increase my stock and other materials my business requires. One printer will cost me kshs.19,000. A camera will cost kshs.9,000.
