Am
married with 2 children and a guardian of 2 children from my late
brother ,one is in college 2 in sec. school and 1 in primary
school.Diploma holder in business management.l live in Embakasi,
Utawala. I started the business in order to generate some income and to
be self reliant. I use the proceed from the farm by paying the school
fees for the children, home upkeep and helping the needy in the society.

My Business

I
started my business in the year 2006 of rearing chicken and cows,
currently l have 3 cows, 3 heifers and 700 broilers . Am in need of a
cooler for storing milk and capons which is currently a challenge to me
coz of the inflactuating market price, also l need to add value to my
milk by making yogurt which is more profitable. I prefer the sales of
milk since l live in town and the milk is always in demand compared to
packed milk to the price, the milk is always clean and of good
standard. The challenges l encounter is lack of fodder during the dry
season and the high cost of dairy meals. The monthly cost is about
25,000, sales revenue 45,000, profit 20,000 that is from dairy farm

Loan Proposal

I intend to buy a cooler for the storage of milk, yoghurt and capons. I would also buy one more grade cattle which will properly produce more than 35 litres of milk in a day. By buying one more cattle it mean more milk production and since the demand of milk is always high within Nairobi l will be able to make a good profit, which will definetely uplift my living standard and also l will be able to help the disadvantages people in my sorrounding.
