About Me

My name is Donald Bosire i was born in the year 1985 in a village called ronda.I grew up in a humble family background whose major activities was farming.I enrolled in nursery school, primary and high school respectively.Though it was not easy to get funds but i pulled through the small earnings i got from our small garden and working for people during holidays and weekends. It came to my mind one time that if can venture into the poultry industry maybe i could succeed and from a small capital i started to keep broilers which could mature after five weeks. It was to me as an experiment little did i know that i could depend on this venture as it grew and became more interesting as i earned some profits which helped me to establish myself and become self employed. This venture also made me to learn a lot of skills to manage a farm.It has been hard all through but if get the funds i can be able to go to the next level of applying technology and use of machines to make work easier. If am given the money i will buy feeders and drinkers to replace the worn out ones so as to facilitate a good environment to the flock.Afterwards maybe i will apply for higher amount to make a major investment in the farm.

My Business

I have been doing other activities apart from poultry i have a small fish pond which acts as a boost also engage in maize farming which also helps me to sustain the business.
I have also implemented the use of natural antibiotics like aloevera to help in cutting down the cost of operation. This has worked very efficiently hence increasing productivity. As i keep this chicken i sell them to my neighbors and earn some money and this helps me to operate the business.
Here is a summary of operation in my farm for one month upon introduction of new flock.
Finances
200 Day old Chick @ 35 =Ksh 7,500,House renovation and modification Ksh 5,000,Feeders/Drinkers and vaccination Ksh 5,500, Feeds Ksh 30,000
Expected income after six weeks
200 broilers @ 700 To give us 140,000
Profit = Total Income - Total Expenditure
As you can see at least the business can sustain itself and be able to repay the loan.
Am intending to venture further into poultry by having broilers, layers and a hatchery to sell day old chick.
Am appealing to all well wishers to help me raise these fund s to start on the journey of making this industry big and profitable and create more job opportunities.

Loan Proposal

I intend to buy additional feeders and drinkers to replace the worn out ones so as to facilitate the smooth operation of feeding programme in the poultry house.Due to the fact that the amount is little but i will try and make it useful in the best way possible so as to improve and increase productivity and give good returns to realize a profit. If i succeed in doing this i will be very grateful and work hard to make the dream of operating a big poultry industry.
