About Me

II am a Kenyan civil servant from Kibarani, Kilifi County. I am married and I started this dairy cow business in the year 2,000 up to date. I have successfully run this business though with some challenges that I think with this loan I will be able to manage. As a matter of fact in the area there was no place we could get fresh milk, hence that propelled me to buy the dairy cow which has been a great help. I have been able to cater for my two orphan’s school fees and feed my family as well. The business is profitable and doing well except during dry season whereby I need to struggle hard to make sure it gets the right grass and the right quantity as well. I supply milk in the local and tourist hotels around the area with permanent customers who get twenty litters a day without a miss at fifty shillings per litter so apart from the other customers I get one thousand hundred a day. I am also taking care of two orphans who are in upper classes and they are very bright boys in the class, they have been scoring five hundred and above marks out of seven hundred and I real would wish to prepare them for a bright future.

My Business

I keep a dairy cow which produces more than twenty five litters a day .I sell my product in the local hotels and tourists hotels I have two permanent customers which took ten liters each a day from a nearby tourist hotel s since the year two thousand and six,I really thank this clients as they have been a great help for me I have been able to maintain them due to the quality services I have been providing for them . With this loan I will add another dairy cow and I am certain sure that I will get another permanent customer from another hotel nearby as I am well known for great and quality services. The competition is down as there is only one farmer which has only one cow in the area and by all means he cannot overdo me as he lacks experience and he is not professional. At the end of a month I normally get a net profit of around forty thousand shillings which cater for my basic needs and secondary wants including settling water bills, the care taker ,foods and paying school fees for my two bright orphans who are doing great at school, they have been clinching position one and in their classes since they were in class six. My dear husband is seasonal employed as he works in the hotel industry where by the hotels becomes busy during the month of august up to February .

Loan Proposal

I ll be able to expand my business by adding new shade of the cow and I wish to buy another one which will be able to add more milk hence making more profit. Ill be able to buy high quality foods for more productivity of milk.Ill also use the loan to market my product by visiting the local tourists hotels around kilifi and Malindi town. With the profit Ill be able to cutter for my children's school fees and the two orphans I do take care of and make sure they get their rights ie the right for eduction the right for shelter and the right for food. I will be in a position also to add like a casual worker so that they can be two and by doing that I will have participated in creating job employment in our community .From the milk product I will be able to form another products like butter and cheese which have great demand in my community.
