My name is Charles Afum from Ghana. I studied Mechanical Engineering and graduated as Mechanical engineering Technician. I worked with Ghana Aluminium products as Technician from 1999 to 2005. I had an accident during my duty as a technician which resulted in my right hand fingers deformity. I decided to end my profession as Technician and from the little compensation the company offered me, i started a local production of Turpentine, wood preservatives and white glue in a 12ft x 12ft rented apartment. I have a new site in a few months i will move in there. God has bless me with two handsome boys who are willing to continue my unfinished profession . From a humble beginning that is how far God has brought me.
My main business is production of Turpentine, wood preservatives and white glue. I supply these products to hardware shops and painters. Risk taking is what i like most and my drive as a person. I am also a poultry farmer and planning to go into grasscutter farming. I do all these from my main business which is too much of a load for the growth of my main business.
I need a loan of $230 (870Ghs) to enable me to expand my poultry farm which has been started with my first loan. The loan will be used to purchase the following items: (1) 130pcs of a day old broiler birds= $130 (491.4Ghs) (2) feed for the birds $80 (302.4Ghs) and (3) Vaccines and other expenses =$20 (75.6Ghs). If this loan is granted it is going to add 50% increase of profit within 8weeks of this projects and that will help my family a lots. i hope to here from my lenders soon. Thank you
