About Me

Hi, Patricia Sogah is my name and I am currently a trader. I have been at CP Zero, a suburb of the Weija Municipality, for 19 years now. Weija Municipality is one of the Municipalities in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.

I moved to Accra in the year 2000 and have thoroughly enjoyed myself here. The Weija Municipality, CP Zero to be precise is a great place, the people are fantastic and the atmosphere is one that makes you actually want to live there. Before I moved to Accra, I was staying at Agbozomo. I was born and raised here in Agbozomo and grew up here. Agbozomo is a village in the Volta Region of Ghana.

I am an interesting, fun loving woman with a good sense of humor. One thing about me that is important to know though is that at first I come of as a very shy individualistic woman but once I get to know people and are comfortable with my environment I am great. It is hard for me to make friends but once I make them, it’s great and I am all different. I joke, laugh and humor people and I also get as much as I give. I am a very kind, compassionate, sensitive woman as my close friends will tell you. I have a tough shell but on the inside I am soft. I am also a very principled person and stand strong on what is right and wrong. I am also a very straight and honest person. I understand and know that we all put on a show sometimes and do not show who we really are or what we feel but some people do this constantly and those kinds of people I cannot stand.

Academically, because of economic hardship, I ended my education at the Junior High School level at Agbozomo. I am a Christian and am married with 4 children. The first child wants to be a doctor, the second born want's to be a lawyer and the third born wants to be an engineer. The last born is just 1 and half hears old. I want to give my children the best form of education I can.

As I said earlier on, I am currently into trading. I sell food stuff at CP Zero.
About my hobbies, I like listening to gospel music

My Business

I believe all rich and poor people have a right to affordable food. To achieve this, I passionately supply healthy food stuff for people in my community. Food is one of the basic needs of man. Food is one of the sources of life of man.

In order to address foodstuff needs for people in my community and beyond, I went to rent a store for this business. For the past 19 years,I started this business, when I moved to Accra. Before starting this business in my community, I was overwhelmed by the big prices other foodstuff sellers were charging. I started building this business to challenge the existing status-quo. Thus, getting people healthy foodstuff which is affordable.

I found the solution by contacting local farmers in my village and other nearby villages and small towns. The result was an easy to use strategy, which brings foodstuff from straight from the farm land to the city, so that I can supply to my dear customers.

Soon, I contacted some drivers who will help me bring these foodstuff to the city. I hired some smart and agile drivers who are forward looking and honest, and want to make some money. I value individuals and their needs over processes and rules. I want my customers to be healthy. I value continuous communication between myself and my customers. A product is only as good as the needs it serves. I always focus on the customers' want and needs first.

Loan Proposal

I encourage everyone everywhere to eat healthy food since life is precious. A healthy food serves as a medicine for the body. My store offers a workplace where my customers can keep a healthy way of life and can truly feel at home. A happy employee is also an efficient and productive one, that's why I don't joke with the farmers who produce the foodstuff and the drivers who transport the foodstuff from the farmlands to me.

Currently, I am looking for a loan to rent another store. I want to have a lot of grocery stores in Accra and beyond. I am gradually building my credith worthiness with zidisha, so that I can raise bigger loans in the near future to achieve this vision of mine.

Cost of Store Rent in Accra is Gh¢ 250.00 a month. I need Gh¢ 3,000.00 for 2 years advance payment.

I am counting on you precious lenders. Thank you all!
