About Me

My name is Afe Moonga and i come from a humble family.My education back ground, i went to Matero Primary school and later i was selected to grade 8 at Matero Secondary School.When i completed my high i was sent to Lusaka town at my uncle house to be helping him at his Farm.From there i was able to learn farming and how to do farming business.My uncle taught me business at his farm.Today am a proud farm business man.We celebrate the ceremony and it is the most attracted traditional ceremony in Southern Province of Zambia in Mongu.Tourist and people from all walks life come watch ceremony.I need my children to get to the University and acquire more knowledge as the world now is becoming more dynamic and education is the key to success

My Business

Am a farmer and i sale the farming produce which is the main source of livelihood.I grow and sale maize, sweet potatoes,cassava, vegetables, rice,groundnuts, wheat, sower beans and bean.I sale these goods to both local people and companies.I ventured in the farming business because i highly inspired by my uncle who was a successful farmer.The cost at the farms are many because fertilizer should be available at cost and most i spend K 70,000, including pesticides and the profits come to K 25000 after all expenses.The profits save some money for buying farming inputs,pay school fees and also improve the well being of the family as am the bread winner of my family.

Loan Proposal

Am requesting for the loan to buy a second hand tractor at the farm to help cultivate the land. The farm is very and man power to use hands to cultivate the land is not helping any way hence i need to buy a second tractor worth K 40,000.00, It will benefit us a lot at the farm and produce more crops as the land is very big.
