About Me

My name is Paul Kariuki Mungai. I was born in the year 1979 in a place called makutano forest which in place called Ravine in Baringo Kongo-Ini Village. I went to school called Makutano Primary School where I went up to class three then my family moved to a place called to North Kinangop where I joined class four in school callled Kawamitha Primary School. Then we moved to Bahati where I finshed schooling and we are living there up to now. I am a family man.

I come from Karunga Centre about 10km form Nakuru town along Bahati Forest which is usually known as Bahati Scheme.Bahati Scheme boaders Bahati Forest as one leaves Nakuru town on your way to Bahati centre , you branch at Maili Saba and join Karunga road. Karunga road takes one to Bahati Forest Station. My family farm is near P.C.E.A primary school. Plot No. 9/34 Bahati Scheme the place is near a centre that is nearby called Bahati shopping centre on the lower side this where we normally go for shopping because it is the nearest shopping centre. Our area is good because it has a good climate for farming.

My Business

I do farming where I grow different types of crops like maize,beans peas, cabbages tomatoes, potatoes, carrots e.t.c . I sell my farm produce to the people around and those who come from as far as from Nairobi because they come to buy maize during the harvesting season also those around do buy the maize and they later sell to people who come from a far. I also keep 4 dairy cows for milk production which I sell to the people around. From the above business I get about 80000 per year. The total annual income is about 140000 per year. I use the income for the up keep of my family and I also help my aged parent. I also use the amount to continue with the business. Our area is very good climatic way and one can do a lot of business especially when it come to farming. When it come to dairy farming business ,you can be rest assured that you will be getting enough fonder for cows. I use the amount to cater for my family and also I do help my parent the remaining amount I use to continue the business.

Loan Proposal

I thank the zidisha team for the first loan thank you very much i promise to utilize the loan in a very good way to be able to make good profit and also to pay the loan at the right time. for now i will use the amount to uplift my business. This will enable me to have a good income which will also help me to pay the loan at the right time .
