About Me
I am married with two Girls one in High School and the other in Kindergarten I love my husband and the Two Girls very much and they are joy of my heart .I run a grocery shop in Utawala Estate In Embakasi which I started one year ago after I was retrenched and paid Ksh 80000 which I started my Business with. Use my earning from by business to help my Husband who is employed as Junior staff in a local company in Nairobi and I help him to pay for our Children school fee and providing them with their daily bread.
My Business
The Business is located in a very strategic place and I make daily sales of Ksh 10000 that is about Ksh 300000 per month sales where after paying all my Purchases and Expenses and Rent I remain with average profit of Ksh 15000 per Month . Its retail shop where I sell consumer products in small affordable quantities at affordable price and customer likes my shop because of Good Customer Care.
We faces some challenges of frequent increase of commodities prices which is due to current inflation and High transport cost for our purchases.
Due to limited stock my customer can not get most of the commodities they require. I would like to get a loan from Zidisha to increase the stock of merchandise goods,Cereals fruits and Vegetables which are in a very big demand in this area.
and to employ one shop assistance. This will help me to create job opportunity for the youth where by in Kenya non employment rate is very high and there is a need ti create employment and reduce level of poverty in Africa.
Loan Proposal
I used the money to re-stock my shop with new products, such as dry maize, beans,green-grains rice,maize and wheat flour sugar,soaps,fruits and vegetables, plastic and ceramics utensils, amblers,shoes, soft drinks,babies foods and diapers other fast moving goods.This money will also help me stock my shop with goods which are in high demands on coming festive Christmas season
