About Me

My name is Easther Muthoni Erasmus.I am a mother of two,a boy amd a girl.I am single.I live in Makupa in the coastal town of kenya Mombasa.I am a business lady.I run a photocopying business ,a small cyber cafe,and an Mpesa.I am a form six high school leaver and i have been in business since the time i left school .The reason i started my business was because i wanted to be my own boss.I have been in different business until now and i am financially independent.i use the money i get from my business for day to day upkeep of my children.I also save some little money every month.

My Business

i started my current business three years ago.This was due to the high demand for IT services.There is demand for my business because in this town we have many universities and colleges and students prefer photocopying notes to writing.My main customers for photocopying are students .The Mpesa also comes in handy because it has become the best money transfer service in Africa face and this is a busy town.My customers prefer my business because i offer the best services at a relatively cheap price compared to the rest.My business is profitable because i manage to pay my two employees,pay rent ,service my photocopying machines and coimputers and also meet demands by the city council.my business faces the challenge of small space ie the premises is small.a small number of machines hence clients have to wait eor one another etc.my total monthly expenses all together is 40,000 while my monthly revenue is 85000. I save a small percentage and use the rest on my household.

Loan Proposal

I want to increase float for my mpesa line .Customers have come and gone because i did not have enough float to satisfy them.At least i will have doubled my float .That way i will retain my customers.I will also buy printing papers in bulky because that way they are cheaper compared to when buying a rim every other time.I will buy standby toners too because at times the printer toner gets finished at injury times.
