About Me

Am a Kenyan citizen aged 26 years. 1 am a father of two children a girl aged ten years and a boy aged two years. I completed my form four education and started doing business so as to support my family. My shop is located at the road on the rounder stage just 50 meters fromTajmall Uchumi business center. This is a very strategic place that assists me to capture most of the customers since it is a busy area. In my business I sell different types of grains such as beans, maize ground nuts and other types. I always make some good profit of around ten thousand shillings per month. The earning that I get from my business, I use them to up keep my family whereby i pay the fees of my children and also buy more stock so as to expand my business

My Business

I operate a poultry and selling of cereals goods business located near Tajmall Uchumi business center. One year ago I realized the business of egg selling and cereals selling business that was growing at a very high rate. I did my own research and I realized that the egg suppliers used to go very far to pick the eggs and distribute them to the retailers. They could go as far as ketegela and GM. That’s when I decided to venture into the business of poultry keeping and eggs selling.
I started in a small way and realized the demand for the products was increasing because I gave my clients products with the same price as they would get if they went to the previous destinations. This saved them time and other costs. This was demanding to them because they incurred less transportation cost than going to the previous places (ketegela and GM). I have managed to attract and retain more customers throughout the years, due to the availability of the desired products at all time.
Currently I sell eggs, cereals and even started keeping a small chicken for meat. It has been my desire to expand my business more to sell more and more eggs and expand my broiler rearing but it has been difficult due to inadequate finance. Also I would wish to improve my service delivery to satisfy my increasing number of customers. Lately I have been attracting customers from different parts of Embarcasy including many from pipeline and jua kali estate. In a good month am able to make sales revenue of approximately KES 10,000 and during peak seasons the sales increases to approximately KES 15,000. I incur monthly expenses of approximately KES 10,000 Inclusive of electricity labour, feeds and rental fees for my cereals goods. if i get the loan i will use it to expand my business so that i can stock more stock especially now that is harvest time i can buy more of the grains around in a cheaper price. this will assist me alot and if i manage to increase my income i will increase the poultry rearing as well.
