About Me

I am a year old Kenyan Citizen. I live in Thika's Starehe Estate, just near the Safaricom Booster behind Community Building House Number 6, Plot 3
I am a photographer by profession and I also keep chicken.
I hold a Diploma in Art Science.
I started my business as a photographer way back in 2011 after graduating with my diploma. I have a strong affinity for beautiful natural scenery and make sure I capture the best natural shots and sell them at various expos in Thika and Nairobi's Kenyatta International Conference Center.
The profile picture I have used is an example of what I do. It was taken as Blue Post Hotel Thika where behind is the Chania Falls. The Hotel is a fascinating site as it lies between two falls, Thika Falls and Chania Falls. When I am not at home tending to my chicken, mostly I am here to even assist the tourist and take them beautiful pictures

My Business

I am a photographer and a chicken farmer as well.
As a photographer, I work either on my own initiative for instance taking shots of our own natural resources like fascinating river falls, rocks, animals, sites among others. Also, I do wedding photography, birthdays and any other legit occasions that my services are of value.
I always ensure to take the best shot to ensure that my clients have a good deal for their cash. First is the passion that drives me towards ensuring that my client leaves my stand satisfied after getting what he or she expected or even more. Basically, quality pictures is my priority.
The risks involved in my business include changes in weather that would distort my camera, some shots in order to take them involves taking a very high risk so as to get that desired image for instance getting closer to a wild animal, climbing on top of a tree.
In a month, from the photography business I manage to get at least Ksh. 15000 as profit.
By next year I he that now with my involvement with Zidisha, I will have my own stall and employ at least two people as I will have taken my business to another level.
The chicken busines also is picking up. I just started it in May and am now awaiting to sell my first lot of chicken. I am really looking forward to that this September.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to purchase A4 size photograph papers in wholesale to minimize the cost of purchasing them in retail. This will cost me Ksh. 2500 to purchase a box of the papers.
The remaining Ksh. 5000, I will use it to purchase a brand new focusing lens. This will ensure that I get to get more clear precise shots hence improving the quality of my work.
Please Zidisha lenders accept my proposal and fund my business.
Thank you
