.To me i have always known that , given the chance , i would do well in business, as early as when i was in year 7 of my schooling i ventured into chicken farming . From then , i knew , this is what i would do .Am running a small cyber in Nakuru town. My dream is to offer my customers the best services in town. This goal will be realized upon getting the Zidisha loan.
My education background is biased towards business , since i have a diploma in business management, further before i ventured into my current business , i did work for various supermarkets both in Nakuru and Nairobi. With these wide business experience i believe am ready to go places. The sky should be my limit.
I come from a family of four, am the eldest . My parents moved to Nakuru , while i was in class two. My primary schooling was done in Nakuru, but i moved to Western Kenya for my High school.
MY college education was done in Rift Valley Institute, Nakuru.
I run a small cyber cafe of 5 computers, the income accrued from this business will be used to repay the loan. This is my personal business which i have been running for the last one years. The services i offer include , cyber services , printing , photocopying , plastic card making and computer services . Nakuru has become an educational town , with so many colleges and universities, , there is a huge market , for my services .So far i do not ssee a big risk in my business , there are many customers, of which i have been unable to serve them all. My monthly revenue is about Ksh. 20,000, with a profit of Ks. 10, 0000 after i have paid all my bills.
I intend to use the loan to add two more machines and buy some stationery .
I wish to thank zidisha team and my lenders for the loan advanced to me. Business had slowed down towards the end of last year due to the festive seasons and this resulted to the late payments of my loan installments. However, business has now resumed as usual and we hope to achieve all our targets. I will use this loan to purchase a good printer and more printing and photocopying papers since most of the colleges have resumed and the demand for printing services is also very high.
