About Me

My name is Rachael Wangari Gicheha. I am married with three children who are in school. We work very hard to Educate them and give them the best if possible.
I come from Bahati at centre called Maili Kumi along Nakuru/Nyahururu road as you reach Maili Kumi you branch on your right you leave the road to Solai then you go towards Bahati centre before you reach Jomo Kenyatta High School you alight at St. Marks PCEA Church called Corner Stage, as you alight on your left just after the church you count two plots down hill on your left hand side the third one is our home Mama Mukuria’s home. we lived in nakuru county at aplace called kabazi i went to primary school , secondary and teachers training college. i am a taecher by profession and also have a business of farming. my last born child is in university college and working hard to to make sure that he has finished school.

My Business

I do the farming business I grow crops like maize , beans potatoes etc. From this business we get our food and also we are able to raise some money to pay for the school fees of our children and other bills. We do not pay house rent because we live in our plot. We get about 450000 per year.i would like to this opportunity to thank zidisha team for the good work . This time i am preparing to plant now that the long rain have started in our country and at least every farmer is planting and others are preparing their farms those who not done the same.i will improve my farming because the loan have increased and so i can add more farm. i am doing this business because i am able to get food for my family and also i get some income for educating my children.

Loan Proposal

I would like to prepare my farm for planting season I have some money to buy seed so I would need money to prepare and buy fertilizer, i would want to plant tomatoes during this season when the other crops have been harvested so would money to prepare the farm and by chemicals.I would need to buy upgraded seed and fertilizer to raise the production of farming business to get more income for my family.
