About Me

my name is george abondo and i live in pangani estate nakuru town nakuru county.i am a holder in certificate course in food and beverage from Kenya utalii college.i schooled in migori county before l came to nakuru county.i started my business after working many years in different hotels around nakuru.i started my business in 2011 after having the desire to apply the ideas i got while working as a manager in hotel.I overcome the challenges in life by being positive and taking change as a necessary evil.i started by cooking food and serving a small clientele but now may people take lunch at my hotel.
my hobbies include hiking and swimming and working out.i would like my children to be better than me interms of earning and standards of living.

My Business

i operate a hotel in nakuru town oppossite menengai high school nakuru. I provide food to those people who work around this area thus making them not walk long distance looking for food.i provide affordable food and this is what makes the people around buy from me. i make between $120 to $150 monthly.the money l get from here l used to grow my business and also pay for the typical bills around the hotel and at home.

Loan Proposal

thanks zidisha team for the loans that help us improve our business.i will use the first loan of $50 in the following way.$40 i will increase the food ingredients required in the cooking of the meals and $10 I will use to transport the food requirements to my hotel.this will help me to provide the variety of food required and hence make profits.profits got will be used to expand my business and pay my bills.
