my name is Patrick Manyara, i was born in Meru but i am now living in Nairobi city where my business is located. I was a pupil at Meru primary school and Gatanga secondary school.
Live was so hard at home and i thus moved to Nairobi to stay with my brother and make a living in these new town. Together we manged to start an Mpesa business that i am currently operating. I had a savings of 400 us dollars and in addition to 300 us dollars from my brother we managed to put up an Mpesa business with a float of 700 us dollars.
Nairobi is culturally unique because first of all it is a homogeneous town inhabited by all sorts of people on the other hand, it is very competitive. My hobby is playing soccer as well as watching the english premier league
I own an Mpesa outlet and therefore the services that i offer is withdrawals and deposition of money as well as selling airtime. These services are very important because money being the main medium of exchange people can not do without it. We thus offer these money to people. Its demand is also very high because i have managed to centrally put up my shop in a place where many people pass by. I chose these business because of the demand that Mpesa services has in the area where my business is located.
I use the profits that i make in support of my siblings in the village, i give back the business as well as support my mother at home. I also make savings on daily basis
I will use this loan given to improve my mpesa business. Since i started the cold drink business many people have been flocking at my place and also the Mpesa business has improved.
The 100 us dollars given by your organization will help me improve my working float and by that satisfy my customers needs. Thank you
