About Me

My names are Partson Mudenda and I'm 49 years old
I grew up in a village in Choma district Southern province, in Zambia
I have been brought up with a farming background, and we treasured livestock much than crop production in my village.
Among prominent animals we keep goats have proved to a very good income earner and a source of proteins in our rural setup.
I have inspired to put up a sustainable goat farming practices as it is already evident from the small numbers we are keeping.

My Business

Currently am involved in gardening as vegetable production is so profitable due to the drought which has hit the southern part of Zambia in the previous rain season.
From the vegetable production am are able to feed my family and the surplus its taken to the market for some income.

Loan Proposal

The funds received will help in purchasing of the local females goats and thereafter to purchase the pure male boer goats which will help improve the quality of meat.
The loan once received it will enable me to purchase about 6 female goats
The enhance the income to be able to send our children to school and have food security at household level.
The market for goats is available in our community the biggest challenge is having limited numbers of goats and also the poor breed which exists in our community.
