My name is Gilbert Cheruiyot 27 years of age born in a remote village called Keongo Village Kenya. I`m the second Born of 3 children and the Bread winner of the Family. My parents passed on when I was still in Primary school but I thank God because my father had some saving that made me go through High school and there after through college where I did Diploma in Computer Science .we have a farm where I have Tea and Dairy cows where I get my source of income, I decided to concentrate on managing the farm so as to increase the production .
It is with great pleasure that i have known the way in which i can make my business broad and wide enough to get income by being funded in small loans as a small farmer who is growing up to enlarge his income.I have been in this farm that i wish to enlarge in the last three years. With the enlargement of the unit it will allow me to keep my Cows inside which will in return increase the output. The cows which have been grazing in the open field for the previous years will now be confined into the zero grazing unit. Together with the funds I get from the tea It will boost the Dairy farm Unit.
When I get this loan,it will help me improve on my Dairy Unit Project in the following ways;,
Buying of Mabatis and Nails ( Iron Sheets) 37 dollars
Ballast and Cement 60 Dollars
Insuring the cow against diseases.20 Dollars
Despite the fact that I still have deficit of about 17dollars for improved structure I will be happy that my animals are and not being rained on. Through this small loan I will be able to see some of the followings the returns:
The loan will create; improved Dairy farm Unit that will help me get a bigger and better milk production. The expected benefit is likely to shoot up now that there is minimal movement of the animals. The returns will allow me to pursue my career in education and IT.
