My name is Veronica Phiri and am 36 years of age.I completed my high and at Ndeke Secondary School in Kitwe and i did obtain very good results.I hold a Diploma in business management.Due to jobs that are scarce nowdays i have decided to engage myself in entrepreneurship.
My Business
I ran a grocery in our community and i sale a variety of goods, where my source of income comes from.I sale home essential goods mainly groceries and cosmetics in the shop.This kind of business is highly profitable all it needs is good capital to stock up the people's needs.my typical cost is over 35,000 ZMW, of which i make over 4,500 ZMW weekly profits meant for restocking of new stock and some of it for home improvement.
Loan Proposal
I have opened a small grocery shop and i need to increase stock currently missing in the shop which most customers would to buy.The following are the items i need to restock in the shelves and these are;
1.10 boxes of hand sanitizer and wash soaps
2.5 boxes of face masks
3.2 bags of 90 kg rice
4.1 bag of 50 kg beans
5. 30 bags of 25 kg mealie meal
6.5 cases of white spoon sugar
7. 10 cases of cooking oil, detergent soap, Colgate, candles, Insect Killer, eggs, sweets, books and many items as requires for the customers to buy.
Income Source
Currently with the second wave of Covid 19, some businesses may face challenges, I have two grocery shops, the main grocery is the heart of my business it is doing well and generating good income, the ice cream machine is also generating daily income.I have also started raring and selling chickens and selling clothing to increase my financial base to grow businesses and to be financially sound so i can be servicing my loan in the coming weeks without issues.
