My name is Asnet Migiza and I am now 34 years, I have one daughter has just turned eight months. I have been married for 3 years now. I lost my first child at birth. I have 2 brothers and one sister. I lost my father in June 2014 in a motorcyle "boda boda" accident. I lost my mother in law in August 2015.
I am based in Siaya town where I have a small shop where I sell beauty items for ladies. My original shop was brought down by town council some time back when we were made to relocate to a new site. The shop is new and I want to stock it more now that I am back to work on a full time basis. Ladies beauty products are in demand in this area as the Siaya county now hosts a lot of financially able ladies as devolution takes root. During this heated political season, business was not good but now that some semblance of normalcy is returning, I want to get back to business bring in more stock
I will be restocking my shop as soon as I have raised enough funds for this exercise within the next two weeks. I need to increase stock purchase from US$23 that I have been buying to US$35. This increased stock purchase is necessary during this period when we are witnessing high demand for our hair braids because of increased money supply resulting from on-going political campaigns. The generous aspiring political candidates are at this time splashing money allover to convince voters to vote them in in the August 2017 elections. Women are very much involved in the campaigns hence their increased disposable income. This loan will help me buy sufficient stock of hair braiding products. My planned stock purchase is US$35 of which US$ 27 will come from my on-going business activity and the remaining balance of US$8 is the amount of loan applied for from Zidisha.
From this stock purchase, I expect to get profits in the range of 40 to 45% of the gross amount of stock purchased. This will be possible because, it will be possible to cycle the US$35 stock purchases up to four times in the next 3 months.
