My full names are Bright Kanoka. I was born in kasama district and i come from a family of 3 boys and 2 girls and am the second born. Both my parents are alive and settled at a farm. Growing up in the village set up is not easy in my country and my biggest challenge was the long distances we used to walk to school when growing up. But i knew deep down my heart that one day it would end if i worked hard. I finished secondary education and moved to moved to ndola where i studied automotive mechanics. While in college i started selling car spares just to help me raise college fees. I would repair a car for someone and be given a small amount then i buy small spares and when on break i sell at home in the village. Thats how i started my own business. I have settled in ndola and am a family man with 2 kids , both are girls and when the grow up they want to become doctors.
A car is a necessity for everyone and so vehicle spares are fast selling items. I work fulltime as a service technician for a truck company and part time i run an autoshop for spares. These goods are on demand on a daily basis as cars need to be maintained. I buy these spares from other autoshops at a lower price then i add a mark up just to make some profit. On a weekly basis i can buy items worth K2500.00 and by end of the week i sell i make profit of K500.00 to K700.00. These profits i use to pay school fees for my children and home requirements.
With this loan if am given i look forward to buy new stock of car spares for sale. i have a job and i also like business so right now i run a business of selling motor car spares in my small shop. Once am helped with this loan it will help me to make more profit and this will benefit my business and also help me pay school fees for my children. I hope to make profit of about 10% above what i have been making and am sure my business will see some growth.
