About Me

I am a citizen from Kenya aged 27 year of age by the name Samuel Kagiri and a teacher by profession, I was born in year 1984 at Solai which is in Rift valley in Nakuru District which is now Nakuru County, I later joined a nursery school in 1990 but eventually I was graduated to class one because I was very clever, I started my primary education in year 1991 at Solai Primary school up to class two after we migrated to Nyamamithi and I was transferred to the nearby school at Mirema primary school where I joined class three and completed up the class eight and sit for my Kenya certificate of primary education(K.C.P.E) at the same school in year 1998 and managed to get 410 marks out of 700 being the first one in our school, due to school fees problem I was not able to joined a secondary school as the other joined at February and I was forced to stay home for five month but at the mid of second term I was lucky at joined one of the best secondary school in our District by the name Kisanana Secondary School which is at Koibatek and with a lot of effort so as to catch up with the others, I continued with rest of the classes up to year 2002 where I sat for my Kenya Certificate of secondary education (K.C.S.E) and managed to get a mean grade of B plain of 67 points. Later after completion of my education I started farming within our area waiting for university intake , only to be shocked, the university grade pass mark was 69 points compared to mine which was 67 which made me to loose hope of life and my mind was telling me to repeat, but at the same year I was invited to joined HighRigde Teacher Training College for P1 teachers and out of will I was forced to joined thou I lacked school fees, I got a well wisher who supported me in paying the fees, after completion of my training , I was employed as a teacher for two terms in Jamuhuri Primary school at Solai which is a public school, from there I was employed to various private school one being St.Peter & Paul Academy at Kiptagwanyi for about 1½year and currently I am working at Solai Academy being a teacher. My business include selling stationeries e.g. new test books ,exercise books ,pens, pencils, chalks, foolscaps, office glue, all sizes of envelopes ,photocopy papers, examination papers all sizes of laminating papers etc, and a complete set of computer type Dell with a speed of 256 and a memory of 40GB I also have Hp photocopier and a lamination machine which help me in running the business, recently I bought a EPSON machine worthy thirty five thousand(ksh35000) and a SAMSUNG digital camera worthy eleven thousand(ksh11000) which will help me in taking photos and producing them using my EPSON machine, during these December holiday , it also include photocopy service, lamination, type setting and scanning. The business is a sole proprietor but I have employed one young man to assist my wife who is my trustee and she is also the manager to the business my business have a stock of about one hundred and eighty thousand and following these I have insured it. Insurance will ensure support for any risk e.g. fire, theft which may occur, for compensation I have coved my business with AMACO insurance company also the bissines have been under the county council of Nakuru thus making it legal, I proposed to start these bissiness after public demand and by my own observation in that area there was no bookshop within the area and people were forced to move to Nakuru for their shopping. The business Is profitable because I am a teacher thus allowing me to supply exicisebook in place of work and other services to neigh by school in large quantity, also the business is located at a strategic position and is well know to many people in that area, main challenge facing these kind of business lack of enough capital to satisfy the demand.

Thank you lenders for another great opportunity to get a loan from Zidisha organization.
I have been able to do a lot from the loan that I got from Zidisha organization. My business has expanded well and this has been a great opportunity. I wish to put this loan in the following use.
Firstly, I wish to increase the stock of books and secondly I wish to introduce other new stationery in my business that I have not been selling.

    Dear lenders.
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing well as well as my business. The business has gone down slightly. This has been attributed by drought in our area. Most people are not purchasing andthis haa made my revenue to go down slightly. I wish however to repay all my outstanding balance at the moment

    Dear lenders,
I wish to reschedule my loan. I have not been in a position to repay my weekly repayment. I had gone for an educational trip which was scheduled by the school and I was not in a position to send my weekly repayments. I am hoping that I will be able to send the repayment coming week. I am hoping to maintain my on time repayment.
