Hi, Happy New year Mr. Earnest Makau. I found out from John Mwanzui's profile that you were his Mentor for the loan he took from Zidisha in 2015 which he has never cleared up to now. I know John very well and at the time you posted on his profile he was having some financial problems. But since 2016 he recovered and he chose not to repay the loan, for your information John Mwanzui is a church elder & a committed Christian in view and it is from this background that I invited him to Zidisha and I have not been able to apply for a new loan because he has failed to repay Zidisha loan.
I humbly request you to talk to John so that he can restart paying the loan. I have talked to him personally one on one on many occasions and even advised him to adjust his repayment to a figure that he can afford to pay comfortably but it seems that he has chosen not to use my advice
At some point I talked to Zidisha team about his case and they advised me to use his references to, I know some of them and I have together with at least two of them went to his place on this very issue but it has not changed his stance.
I am personally of the view that if Zidisha could list chronic loan defaulters with CRB agencies, people like John will have to pay the loans they took from Zidisha before accessing loans from other institutions.
Thank you and I hope you will convince John Mwanzui to repay his loan Or convince Zidisha to introduce loan defaulter listing with Credit Referencing Bureaus

    Hi Festus,
Zidisha loans are normally disbursed within a period of one week.
Concerning the success of my project, I am running a poultry farm in Machakos which is my side hustle and give it full attention. Business needs a lot of marketing and also you need to be committed. Also when you get loan make sure your installments are what you are very sure you would not struggle to raise.

    Hi Lenders,
I have received my Loan but it's less Kes 13,500 the amount i requested. As a mentor to other borrowers i do understand that this deduction only applies on first loan. Please i am really Concerned since this is my third loan and i had requested Kes 67778.
I would appreciate clarification concerning the deduction.
    Thank you.

    Hi Lenders.
I will buy new incubator of KES 70,000. I will on need to add Kes 4,000 to acquire it. This will help me hatch more chicks which are always on high demand especially in December holiday as many people are free on vacation.
I will also increase my profitability and promise to be an ambassador of Zidisha.
Zidisha team (Lenders), i really lack the best words to appreciate what you have just done but kindly accept my humble thank you.

    Hello Lenders.
My previous loan which you gave me really helped me. I used the funds to complete chicken house as i had intended. Currently i have 300 chicks which are layers and i am hoping in a months time they will be laying. This will reduce the cost of purchasing eggs from other clients and increase my profitability.
    Thank you lenders
