My name is Samson Akomo Olweny born in 1965 to a Christian family. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and saviour in 1979 and currently I am serving as a Bishop in our ministry.
I live next to Okana Primary School in Okana village, two kilometres from Okana business station along Nairobi-Kisumu Highway and 10 km from Kisumu City.
I got married to Janet and we are blessed with one son and six daughters; David, Roseann, Naomi, Ruth, Dorcas, Jacklyn and Favour.
I have been passing through challenges which demanded much money through hard working that I involved in. Business has been my passion but due to the high demand of getting enough funds to cater for my basic needs such as; food, shelter, schooling of my children etc.
I have a small business of grocery which I have done for 20 years now.
My business of groceries was started in 1995 in my residential home. I had opportunity because most of my customers were coming from within and the challenge was that I was not able to have all that are needed in my groceries business. If funded with Zidisha will enable me to expand my business and support my family. I know that my potential customers will get all they need from my business.
If my loan is fully funded, I will buy goods that are fast moving like sugar, maize and wheat flour and cooking fats for my customers. This will cost approximately US$30 for wheat flour, US$30 for maize flour and and the rest US$30.
With this, my customers will be able to to get these essential commodities from one place that is in my small shop.
This will also boost my business by increasing the profits. This will in turn mean more money for my family, the church where I fellowship and and ease with school fees.
Looking forward to my loan being fully funded soon.
Be blessed.
