About Me
My name is Hakeem Obeng and a young Ghanaian Entrepreneur . I live in Tema in The greater Accra region of Ghana with my parents. I am not married. I had formal education to the level of senior high school at the Nyankomasi Ahenkoro senior high school in the central region where I studied business as a course.
I am the second among four boys as in the children born to my parents and I am very hardworking.
Right after high school I had the opportunity to study how to give prescription drugs from a family relative who owned a drug store Abura Taati in the central region. I spent three years learning this trade and after my studies just last year I came back to my community to start my very small drug store.
My Business
I provide first aid healthcare drugs to the people of my community. the simple malaria treatment drugs, pain killers for both the young and the old. Antibiotics too and some other locally manufactured herbal medicines.
I am the only one operating this kind of business in my area and we can count up to only four drug stores in the whole large community with it large numbers.
I choose this business because I like to help people health whiles. Then also due to the nature of the demand conditions and the profit expectations since I had previously worked in one before. Although my business is small I still save a portion of whatever that comes in and I put back the rest of the revenue into my business...
Loan Proposal
When my project is fully supported I will invest what ever amount I will receive into my business. Then also the person who invited me did explained everything about the deductions and for that matter I thought of starting small.
Hence this particular loan will not really make much difference in my inventory but I am very happy to be here and to build my reputation through perfect repayment records which will help me to get access to help in the future.
I will be buying just one five boxes of malaria drug for $10 and then some pain killers for just $5.00.
then I will compliment my repayments with the little savings I have done and that will be enough for me to finish repaying this particular loan.
