About Me

Im a married woman of 32 years of age.Im a born again christian,i have a diploma in pharmaceutical technology.Since finding a job proved difficult i decided to start up a business that will sustain me and my family instead of waiting for my husband to provide. At the moment im able to buy my stock in bits and increase my sales. My desire is to iown a hotel that caters for peoples needs by incuding traditinally cooked food to satisfy the needs of people as the trend has moved to traditionally prepared foods and not junk.

My Business

I run an estate fast food and cafe.We sell Chips, chicken, kebabs, samosas, sausages, fresh juice, soda and ugali, traditional vegetables, meat, rice and chapati on order. Most people living around the area are in employment and sometimes cannot have home cooked meals due to busy schedules, some are not married especially menfokl amd cannot cook.So the cafe caters to their needs in terms of food.CUtomers prefer my businessbecause my premise is clean, services rendered are good and we offer home cooked meals of their preference as per orders. We are alos flexible with closiing time for those who get home late.My monthly costs are for rent for the premise 15000,electricity bill15000,garbage collection 200,water bill 500,salaries 13000.my source of income is money i get after sales of food and eggs for consumption.Sales on daily basis varies from 2500 a day to 7000 on the weekends.

Loan Proposal

I want to use this next loan to take advantage of the festive holiday season by increasing my productions of french fries, sausages, samosas, kebabs, fresh juice and cooked food.I also want to introduce mandazis in the morning because with kids being home for the holidays they tend to snack alot. I want to stock up on 2 sacks of potatoes going @ 4000 kshs a sack, cooking oil 3 jerricans of 20 litres going @ 2750kshs a jerrican, minced meat 5kgs going for 360kshs per kg,5 packets of sausages going for 445kshs a packet,6 packets of baking flour for mandazis going for kshs a packet.3 packets of sugar going for 280kshs each.3 crates of 500ml soda going for 810 kshs a crate,5 crates of 300ml soda going for 460 kshs a crate. If i stock up completely i will sell and save the money i sell then restock as i repay my loan.It will be easier for me to determine how much profit i will make during the festive season,i also want to buy live chicken @ 300 kshs each to sell at 500kshs each to make an extra profit.
Thanking the Zidisha Community and lenders for continuing to support me as pursue my dreams.
