About Me

My name is Felix Banu.I was born at Accra (Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital ). I am 33 years old.I come from Lambussie in the Upper West Region of Ghana. I am the first born of my four (4) siblings .When I was 5 years of age, my late grandfather asked my mom to bring me to my hometown to learn my culture. At the age of seven (7) year I was made to follow cattle so I became a cowboy. I followed cattle for three ( 3) years before starting my basic school at Piina R/C primary in 1996 . I was enrolled into class one (1) at age 10 years .I use to walk to school which is sbout 6km from my village. My first day at school is still fresh in my mind.In fact when I stepped foot into the classroom that fateful day, my class teacher madam Constance given her class some class test in basic mathematics. I quickly took my pencil and book and copied dito dito what the teacher wrote on board without providing any answers .I gave my work to the teacher when it time.By the time we closed she has finished marking our books and they were given to us.I was so excited to see red ink on my book with score boldly written 0/6. As naive as I was, I quickly rushed to show my performance to my friend but he hinted me to hide it because it was a poor performance. But that didn't move me at all . I went ahead to celebrate my poor performance because all I wanted was to see a red ink in my book. I enjoyed some good lunch that day under the school feeding programe sponsored by Catholic Released Service (CRS). This first impression boosted my interest for school so I couldn't afford to miss school for a single day. I studied very hard to catch up with my classmates since i was late for school in terms of age.I completed my primary school successfully in 2001.I entered Piina Junior High School (JHS) in 2002 after passing an entrance exams.During our first term exams, I was placed on 4th position so I did not receive any award during our speed and price giving day. I pulled my weight and was place first during our 2nd term exams so I was awarded with exercise books and pens. I was also elected as the Senior Prefect of my school. From hence forth I toped the entire class till completion. While in JHS I was still made to follow cattle during the weekends and this was really affecting my studies especially during my final year.It got to a point were I have to take my books to the bush so that I could study them when my cattle are resting.Oneday while ready my books in the bush , I dozed off and by the time I woke up my cattle were no where to be found.I searched for them for over three hours but couldn't find them so I came home to report.Afer breaking the bad news to the family my uncle warned me never to step my foot at home if I fail to find the cattle so I returned to the forest. Night soon felt on me so I slept on top of tree in the bush with an empty stomach. I wept all night. The following day the entire family joined the search and for three day we could not find the cattle.God Been so grateful to me, we finally found them on the fourth day at a nearby village. In fact this came to me as a wake up call to extra vigilant in whatever I do.I completed my JHS in 2005 and emerged the overall best student in my school as well as the entire district.Miracleousely, I was been sponsored by a local based radio station known as Foundation for Rural Education Empowerment and Development (FREED) to study General Science at Lawra Senior High School (Lawsec). This kind gesture really helped me a lot since my school fees was been catered for by the radio station.I studied very hard and passed all my exams.I completed Senior High School (SHS) successfully in 2008.I later gained admission into Nursing training College Jirapa in 2009.Due to my hardwork and perseverance I was elected the SRC/GNMTA President .I completed nursing training successfully and was enrolled and licensed as a professional Nurse after passing my licensing exams conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC ) of Ghana .I also developed a strong passion for satellite TV business so I went for a training course organised by Multi TV Ghana and was awarded a certificate and a professional ID card in 2015. I currently work as a professional Nurse and an accredited Multi TV dealer/Installer.I currently live in Wench in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.I own two multi TV shops currently all in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana.I am married with one kid.

My Business

I buy satellite decoders & dishes, satellites equipments like Diseq and switches,LNBF,satellites finders, signal splitters and Televisions on whole sale prices and sell at retail prices to my customers.Digital satellite TV is highly in demand globally due to worldwide switch from analog TV viewing to digital platforms. The general populate therefore need either a digital TV in order to receive TV signal or use a Set Top Box (STB) to convert analog TV codes to digital coding for viewing. Hence the need to set up a digital satellite business. The cost of one box of strong digital satellite decoders at whole sale price is around Ghc2050 equivalent to about $456 USD.Since my business is still growing, I use interest earned to reinvest in the business and use the rest of the interest in repaying my loan.Zidisha is second to none.Zidisha!! simply the best.

Loan Proposal

When this loan is fully funded and disbursed to me, I will use it judiciously to purchase satellite decoders, satellite dishes,LNBF's, diseq switches, coaxial cables, decoder remote control system, wall brackets, decoder/DVD mount, satellite finders, F connectors, signal boosters, flat screen televisions and digital TV antennae.
